FIRST EVER CONTEST
I have a contest for you guys - something to bring in new group zest and some publicity - something creative, for those artsy-fartsy folks.

What It Is


The Task
Design a new group logo for the group!
The Information
Colours to play with: anything goes (FREEDOM!)
Must be 100 (w) x 50 (h) pixels in size
No bigger than 30KB
Can be animated or static
Please credit any resources you use, if using any from DA or other sites
Must fit the group theme of the group which is adoption/connecting writers

Only for the contest, please don't use.

For the theme of group, I decided use clasped hands, because this is associated to united, support and similar concepts of "people conected". And of course, the other principal concept is the writers, for this, I made handwriting typography and added a quill (for me, this represent the esence of literature, "tradition" and liberty).

In relation to colours, I had in mind the colour psychology (The emotions that colours provoke us). Some time ago, I studied about this and for that, I selected some colours that I think match with the group concept. Source: Psicología del color: significado y curiosidades de los colores (Spanish).
Orange: associated to the creativity, warmth, eagerness, spirit and success.
Green: associated to the encourage, balance, growth and stability.
Blue: associated to the liberty, truth, harmony, loyalty, progress, seriously and reliability.
Grey: associated to the persistance and peace.
Black: associated to the seriousness and, for me, elegance and beauty.

Solo para el concurso, por favor, no usar.

Para la tématica del grupo, decidi usar unas manos entrelazadas, porque esto se asocia a la union, el apoyo y conceptos similares de "personas conectadas". Y por supuesto, el otro concepto principal es los escritores, para esto, hice una típografia manuscrita y añadi una pluma (para mí, esta representa la esencia de la literatura, "tradición y libertad).

En relación a los colores, tuve en cuenta la psicología del color (Las emociones que nos provocan los colores). Hace algún tiempo, estudié acerca de esto y por eso, seleccione algunos colores que pienso que encajan con el concepto del grupo. Naranja: asociado a la creatividad, calidez, entusiasmo, éxito y ánimo.
Verde: asociado a la esperanza, equilibrio, crecimiento y estabilidad.
Azul: asociado a la libertad, la verda, la armonía, fidelidad, progreso, seriedad y lealtad.
Gris: asociado a la paz y la tenacidad.
Negro: asociado a la seriedad y para mí, elegancia y belleza.
